What's On the Menu?

Tonight, I mastered the stir-fry with EveryPlate's Kung Pao Beef Bowls. It was surprisingly easy! The mix of ground beef, bell pepper, and scallions in that garlicky ginger-soy kung pao sauce was divine. It's an impressive dish I whipped up in less than 30 minutes.

What I Received:

  1. đŸ„© Ground Beef
  2. 🔔 Green Bell Pepper
  3. 🍚 White Rice
  4. 🌿 Ginger
  5. 🍯 Sweet Soy Glaze
  6. đŸŒ± Scallions
  7. đŸ„œ Peanuts
  8. 🧄 Garlic

What I Needed:

  1. ⬜ Kosher Salt
  2. ⬛ Black Pepper
  3. 🌿 Cooking Oil
  4. 🧈 Butter

Instructions:

  1. 1. Start by cooking the rice with water and a pinch of salt. Let it simmer until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. 2. Prepare the produce: dice bell pepper, slice scallions, grate ginger, chop garlic, and peanuts.
  3. 3. Cook bell pepper in oil, season with salt and pepper. Add scallion whites, ginger, and garlic until fragrant.
  4. 4. Add beef to the pan, season, and cook until browned. Remove excess grease if needed.
  5. 5. Stir in sweet soy glaze into the pan with beef and veggies. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in butter until melted.
  6. 6. Fluff the rice, season to taste, and serve topped with beef, veggies, scallion greens, and peanuts.
