What's On the Menu?

I recently whipped up HelloFresh's Chicken Penne al Limone, and it was a culinary delight! The lemon's zestiness perfectly complemented the creamy sauce, and the chicken was so tender. Tossed with penne and sautéed zucchini, then topped with toasted garlic and parsley, it was a festival of flavors in every bite.

What I Received:

  1. 🧄 Garlic
  2. 🍋 Lemon
  3. 🍝 Penne Pasta
  4. 🥛 Cream Sauce Base
  5. 🥒 Zucchini
  6. 🌿 Parsley
  7. 🍗 Chicken Breast Strips
  8. 🧀 Parmesan Cheese

What I Needed:

  1. 🌿 Olive Oil
  2. 🧈 Butter
  3. ⬜ Salt
  4. ⬛ Pepper
  5. 🌿 Cooking Oil

Instructions:

  1. 1. Prep: Boil salted water, wash and dry produce. Slice garlic, quarter and slice zucchini, zest and quarter lemon, chop parsley.
  2. 2. Toast Garlic: Cook garlic in olive oil until golden, then transfer to a plate.
  3. 3. Cook Pasta & Zucchini: Cook penne until al dente, reserve pasta water, drain. Cook zucchini until tender.
  4. 4. Cook Chicken: Season and cook chicken until browned and cooked through.
  5. 5. Make Sauce: Stir in cream sauce base, pasta cooking water, lemon juice, and cook until thickened.
  6. 6. Finish & Serve: Combine penne, garlic, zucchini, Parmesan, parsley, lemon zest, butter, and season. Serve with remaining Parmesan, parsley, and lemon wedges.
