What's On the Menu?

I gave HelloFresh's Onion Crunch Chicken a go, and I'm impressed! The honey mustard's tanginess mixed with the fried onions' savory crunch was a match made in heaven. The creamy mashed potatoes and roasted green beans were the perfect sides. This dish is both satisfying and a breeze to make.

What I Received:

  3. 🧀 Monterey Jack Cheese
  4. 🍗 Chicken Cutlets
  5. 🍯 Honey Dijon Dressing
  6. đŸŒ± Green Beans

What I Needed:

  1. ⬜ Salt
  2. ⬛ Pepper
  3. 🌿 Olive Oil
  4. 🧈 Butter

Instructions:

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Peel and dice potatoes into œ-inch pieces. Crush crispy fried onions to breadcrumb consistency and mix with Monterey Jack cheese.
  2. 2. Boil diced potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Reserve œ cup of the cooking liquid, then drain and return potatoes to the pot.
  3. 3. Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper, and place on a baking sheet. Spread a thin layer of honey mustard dressing on each cutlet, then press the onion and cheese mixture on top.
  4. 4. Toss green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and place them on the baking sheet with the chicken. Roast until the chicken is cooked through and green beans are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. 5. Mash the potatoes with sour cream, butter, and salt, adding reserved cooking liquid as needed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Serve the chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans, accompanied by extra honey mustard dressing on the side.
