What's On the Menu?

I just tried cooking EveryPlate's Tunisian-Spiced Chicken, and it was a journey of flavors! The chicken was marinated in exotic Tunisian spices, creating a juicy and flavorful experience. Paired with creamy garlic sauce, roasted carrots, and scallion couscous, it was an incredibly satisfying meal.

What I Received:

  1. 🥕 Carrots
  2. 🌱 Scallions
  3. 🧄 Garlic
  4. 🍗 Chicken Breasts
  5. 🌾 Israeli Couscous
  6. 🌶️ Tunisian Spice Blend
  7. 🍲 Chicken Stock Concentrate
  8. 🍶 Sour Cream
  9. 🍋 Lemon

What I Needed:

  1. ⬜ Kosher Salt
  2. ⬛ Black Pepper
  3. 🧈 Butter
  4. 🌿 Olive Oil
  5. 🌶️ Chili Flakes (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. 1. Preheat your oven and prepare the veggies. Create a marinade with the Tunisian spice blend, garlic, sour cream, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken and let it marinate.
  2. 2. Prepare and roast the carrots with a drizzle of olive oil and optional chili flakes.
  3. 3. Mix sour cream, scallion greens, lemon zest, and garlic to make a creamy garlic sauce.
  4. 4. Toast the couscous with scallion whites, then cook with chicken stock until tender.
  5. 5. Cook the marinated chicken until browned and fully cooked.
  6. 6. Fluff the couscous and season. Serve the chicken with couscous, carrots, and sauce. Garnish with scallion greens and chili flakes if desired.
